In-Form Solutions were commissioned to support the Trust which had been placed into Financial Special Measures owing to its deteriorating financial performance. East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust is a £380m provider of hospital and community services with its main sites at Eastbourne and Hastings.

Following a recommendation from NHS Improvement/NHS England, In-Form Solutions were commissioned to support the Trust owing to its deteriorating financial performance. The Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust resulted from a merger between the Winchester and Basingstoke hospitals, has a turnover of c£400m, and has severe estates issues.

In-Form Solutions supported the Health & Social Care partners to align services with the common aim of integrating services in a joined-up way by improving local services through the “St Helens Cares” collaboration. This involved the integration and transition of a wide range of community services across 13 service lines across 3 CCG’s and 4 NHS providers.

In-Form Solutions lead the development of new commissioning arrangements for the Gibraltar Health Authority, with key specialist teaching hospitals providing access to some of the leading hospitals in Europe. New commissioning, contracting and performance management tools were designed and introduced for some complex care pathways including support services for both patients and clinicians, visiting consultants, patient accommodation, meet and greet services and telemedicine.

In-Form Solutions have provided senior finance support and mentoring to senior managers and clinicians together with the Finance Department of the Gibraltar Health Authority (GHA).

In-Form Solutions was asked by the Board of the Trust to develop a robust business plan for a new real-time information management system that had been developed at the Trust in order to check its feasibility and to develop a plan that covers its financial, operational, structural and marketing operations.

In-Form Solutions undertook a strategic impact assessment of the effect of plans to introduce localised Urgent Treatment Centres in line with NHSE policy on A&E departments and Minor Injuries Units across six hospitals across the communities of Sussex and East Surrey.

In-Form Solutions were commissioned by States of Jersey Health & Social Services to plan and implement a new Patient Level Information Costing System (PLiCS) for our acute, mental health and community services.

The In-Form Solutions team prepared a Business Case for introducing a Referral Management System (RMS) for Eastern Cheshire CCG.

In-Form Solutions was asked to develop and facilitate an integrated medium-term plan for one of the largest integrated health organisation in the country. This was particularly challenging as there was a short time-scale for delivery, so it involved closely working with many senior managers and clinicians as well as the finance, informatics and planning teams. We also worked with a number of external stakeholders including NHS Wales and other Heath Boards.
